The Mini-Resource was established under the Bernard van Leer Foundation's Kingston Inner-City Child Support Project (Phase II) to support the continued stimulation of children from an early age. Under EHF's supervision, the Centre was equipped with developmentally appropriate materials for early childhood caregivers, parents and children. The children are able to not only utilize the books while at the Resource Centre, but may also borrow books on the "book-lend" programme. Additionally, parents and early childhood educators can access resources for research and teaching. Centrally located at the VOUCH Complex at National Heroes Circle, the Mini-Resource Centre allows for easy access by persons wishing to utilize it.
